| About this website
I specialise in interactive design and development, which involves
a range of activities, from web/interface design and development
to graphics, illustration and animation. I contribute to a wide
range of projects, in particular related to education and e-learning.
Subjects include training and marketing materials for medical imaging
products; undergraduate medical education; socio-health information;
poetry games; study skills.
As a professional illustrator, I have been commissioned
for many publishing and editorial projects, including several
long-running series for Scotland
on Sunday
and The Herald. Some projects use traditional drawing
skills, most use a combination of illustration, montage, digital
imaging and photography techniques. Currently, I bring these skills
to my full-time work in e-learning design and development.
PS: This website is old and a bit rusty round the edges. It will
be redesigned soon to meet current W3C standards and to
update portfolio. But things have been busy!
