1. Create a slice between the soft tissue of aorta and the spine

To examine the Area Of Interest (AOI) more clearly, we need to hide some of the bone and tissue obscuring the original scan data. First, a slice is created between the tissues of the aorta and the spine.

To do this, the 3D volume is rotated to the lateral view. Then the Select tool is used to draw a slice, separating the tissues of the aorta from the spine.
